Yes we are on “drugs”… food is our “drug”…
Our bodies are a result of eating meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar at levels that support exercise and not body-fat. Cheat occasionally in order to keep sane and perform functional movements at relative high intensity. (or as we call it: “DO YOUR BE(A)ST”).
Yes genetics come into play, but if steroids are what others want to attribute to your success, they are most likely too scared or too weak mentally to put in the work. Invite doubters to the gym to share in the struggle. Beyond that let it be.
We know this is hard to believe outside the CrossFit Community. However we invite everyone to join and try yourself.
If you don´t want to join that´s absolutely OK, but please do not spread lies and discourage athletes for their commitment.
If you are still convinced that bodies can´t be built like that without steroids, here is the deal.
I´ll do a doping test. If the outcome is positive you´ll get € 1,000,- in cash. If not you will donate € 1,000,- to a charity organization of my choice.
